Letter from the President

The Historic Frenchtown Association is your neighborhood association that is dedicated to the beautification of our neighborhood, improving the quality of life for our residents, improving safety and attracting and promoting our neighborhood Businesses. While preserving the Historic significance of our wonderful area.

This is going to be an exciting year in Frenchtown! Here are some wonderful activities planned. To kick off Spring we have an Easter Egg Hunt planned for all the children in the neighborhood, followed up by a Spring BBQ that will be a great time to welcome the warm weather and mingle with your neighbors and have some fun!

We are also working on our Green Up & Clean Up program that will plant “new” trees & flowers and keep the weeds off our sidewalks. This will really improve the look of our streets. We have one of our local businesses The Bike Stop Café working on a Frenchtown 5K Run.

Please join us! By joining us there are some real advantages to being a member of the Historic Frenchtown Association.

Having part in developing a real community where your neighbors are friends.
Improving your neighborhood quality of life.
Making your neighbor safe for your family.
Giving back to your neighborhood through volunteering.
Getting to know your neighbors, networking, making new friends.
Taking pride in your neighborhood through beautification.
By doing these things, we all improve our Real Estate values.

Join us in making our Historic Frenchtown neighborhood a wonderful place to live, work, raise a family and enjoy a great quality of life.

Frenchtown Bath Meets This Old House Magazine

Picture

Susan and Mark Nitchman's bathroom so impressed the editors of This Old House magazine they did a spread on it.

Here's an excerpt..
.If the bath of your dreams seems out of reach, you've typically got two choices: Cut corners or compromise. Or, you could follow Susan and Mark Nitchman's lead and get creative—and a little dirty. For this couple, affording a spa-like retreat for their 1876 Queen Anne in St. Charles, Missouri, started with bidding their contractor farewell once the drywall and subfloor were in.
